Why does God let Satan have the upper hand,
He reigns on earth and then most souls live in hell forever? lol...
why is God so frivilous as to have everything come down to a "soul" game......on a tiny blue speck of dust of a planet on the edge of an enormous universe, no less.
And also to be so childish and nonsensical to have the soul game between God and his rival Satan come down to "believers" and 'nonbelievers'. How retarded.......
Why do you seek to make God out to be so bad?

I am not a Christian, nor do I believe God and Satan are rivals. I believe God gave Satan a job to do and Satan can't make a move without God's approval. Satan's job is to tempt the soul with their passions and desires in order to weed out those who are not yet ready to ascend back into the kingdom of heaven. Satan's job is to waylay soul as long as possible, so that only the truly purified souls return. Satan is doing a very good job.

Ok I don't know how many different ways or how many different times Christians have to say this. . . . .

God has all the power, he is ruler over Satan. We are talking about different worlds here. The natural and the spiritual. It is a soul game b/c that is what we are. The body is just a vessel that holds our soul. We were created in his image and he loved us. He created the time, the universe, the earth, the sky and so on and so on. There was none of this before. This was all for us to inhabit. The animals obeyed Adam, the food wasn't cultivated it was there for us to eat. Satan knew how much God loved us and wanted to DESTROY US. The only way he could do this was to have us know the difference between good and evil and we were not aware of this. Eating from the tree, the apple, all of this is a metaphor for what happened. Once we now had this knowledge and were decieved Satan was about to win. He was going to be able to destroy us. Well God stepped in and said Adam and Eve didn't obey so now you have to work the land to get what you need to eat, now childbirth would be painful, now you we were born dying. The flood was to destroy what God had created. Because we became so evil . . . . due to influence. But one found favor with God . . . . Noah. So he was saved. From there God promised to never do that again and thus prophecies of Jesus' coming started to be fortold. Jesus was sent so that Satan wouldn't ultimately win. So that we as future HUMAN BEINGS would have a way out and not be doomed by our ancestors choices.

Quite wonderful actually b/c when the end comes and Satan is REALLY free to roam the earth doing WHATEVER he wants . . . you will then want to believe. Amazing how life works. Believe now for the end is near.

God Bless

Considering that we are here on earth for such a short time and then there are only 3 possibilities for what comes after that from anyone's perspective, then all we as individuals have is life and the hereafter. If there is any meaning or reason at all for what we as each individual person who has ever been or will be on earth do or think then that meaning or reason is the same for each person. To live here in the short time we have no matter how vast the universe is and to seek for answers. Some have found the answer that applies to everyone, which is that God sent his only son into the world to save men from their sin. Their sin is what causes Satan to have what seems to be the upper hand. God gave us the answer, we have the choice to accept it or to reject it.

1. The road to hell is wide and paved with good intentions. It is the most easy to travel because of man's selfish desires. The devil only deceives you in this path.
2. The road to heaven is straight and narrow because it take dtermination, commitment and love. The path is not easy because the devil constantly badgers you to follow him.
3. Ask yourself why the devil is going after you and others. Is it because he hates God for who he is?
4. satan can only destroy the body given permission by the victim. God can destroy BODY AND SOUL.
5. God created satan. He was defeated once by the Seed of Mary.
He was defeated again in the desert by Jesus by the Word.
He was defeated AGAIN at the cross.
He will be defeated ONE FINAL TIME at the end of the millenial reign of Jesus. His final destination will be HELL.

Doesn't sound like he has the upper hand, now does he?

P.S.
get this Stupid crap off your intelligence. People who criticize like that have ignorance beyond any useful knowledge.
I HAVE A COLLEGE DEGREE.
Hypocrite.

It's not Christians that seek to make God out to be bad, it's non-believers.
If satan had more power than God, satan would be in Heaven now, sitting on God's throne after throwing Him out.
There is no game going on, and in the end, it will be all out war on earth.
You think your soul is just a speck of dust, don't think much of yourself do you? Why? Your SOUL is your inner essence, your inner being, it's what makes you you. It's what makes you feel happy, sad, it's what hurts so bad when your heart is broken, it's what makes you feel happy you see a rainbow.

That's the way God did it. That's the answer.

God didn't want everybody. I know that it's difficult to believe, but what will you believe? If God is the one with all the power, more than Satan, then why are there so many other ways to go?

Because God did not want most people. Jesus said that none will come except the Spirit draw them, and that's what we have today.

Many people think that we are all God's children. That's not true, according to the Bible. Yet the Gospel message is not popular, and the things that Jesus said are not popular, and God knew it. But Jesus spoke the truth, and we have a decision to make; are we going to respond to God in that Jesus message was the right one? Or are we going to ridicule everything he did as reasons why not to respond?

I have made my choice, it's your turn. Or, have you already made it? I think that you have.

Christianity is not about God and Satan; it's about God's love for His people, and how HE sent HIS son to die for our sins so that the path of salvation would be clear. The problem comes in with people. People don't want to accept the fact that Jesus is the way to Heaven; that the only way to the FATHER is through HIS son, Jesus. So if the only way to Heaven is through Jesus, that is a narrow path, because everything else leads to Hell, everything else is a lot wider of a path.
Hope this helps.

Christians dont believe that Satan has more power than God!!! Satan reigns on earth now because God gave us free choice. At the moment our free choices are getting us into a lot of trouble.

All it takes to get into heaven is faith that Jesus Christ died for your sins and your sins are forgiven. Its not hard, altho some people dont believe because they think its too simple.

God has more power than does Satan, because God made everything and everyone, including Satan. That should answer the first question. For the second, it's REALLY easy. Two simple yet very complex words... "Free Will."

Well, He just has very high expectations. If we can live through Satan then I guess we're worthy of going 'up there'. And for believers and nonbelievers, wouldn't you rather stick with friends who trust you rather than enemies who act like they don't need you?
