i am babysitting my cousin and one of them has spilled an entire soda bottle. how do i clean up. i never babysat. god i hate kids. luckily they arent too young.

Is it diet or regular?
Colored or clear?
Diet, clear is best and can be wiped up with paper towels.
Diet colored can be matted up with paper towels and if there is a stain, try soda water.
With regular, you'll need to soak it with some water to get the sugar out.
If they are not too young, make the kids clean up the mess they made. Be nice but firm. THey need to learn.

If they spilled it on the carpet, then see if the parents keep some "Resolve Carpet Cleaner" in the house. It's in a red can. But if they spilled it on the floor, just mop it up.

haha, grab a rag and dry it up. Use some all purpose cleaner to clean up the sticky parts. If it is on the rug, soak it up, and find some carpet cleaner. I'm sorry you have to babysit, kids frustrate me also.
