Well, I am a girl, but this is how we like to be talked to:

-Compliments
-Puppies, kittens, etc.

-Just mainly talk about anything positive and remember WE LOVE COMPLIMENTS.

if i were a boy i would rather show her, that i have special feeling to tell her in the first place by attention. Because as they say, "Action speaks louder than Words".

Then as the answer for your question, i probably say "i think im in love with you. Would you be my girl?" hehehe... ^^
