He feels like you're not putting enough effort into the relationship and you're not trying as hard as he is.... that it is a one-sided relationship.

It means that you are just like a pet stone (no action) as for as nurturing the relationship is concerned. You may respond good to the guy initiative but no initiatives from your side to make it more interesting relationship.

Most things in the relationship is dependant on him, such as he's always paying, he's always driving, he's always fixing her problems. If this isn't true for you, then he's a guilt tripper trying to manipulate you for some reason or is self centerered and doesn't see your efforts in the relationship - a good sign to leave.

He feels like you don't really care if the relationship stays or goes... like it's him doing all the work to sustain it because you can't be bothered. Both men and women need little tokens or gestures of devotion and involvement. Plan something and invite him to join you... it'll make him feel better.

Feels like he's the one who initiates stuff like getting together, the emotion in the relationship, the talking and sharing invovled... even the sexual stuff. Means you don't give him much to work with.
