I cant say all guys like the same things. But respectable guys like me like a funny person, but not stupid. Try not to use the, "I need help"' excuse because we think your too stupid for a long relationship. We need a little sacrifice and understanding. Sacrifice as in we don't want dramas. Some times we sacrifice and watch them but we die a little inside because of that. understanding by if we just so happen look at another girl, I'm sorry she is prettier but we still love our girl. Don't just break up over that. look available but not like you want to jump into bed or want to scream at the mention of sex or a sexual term. Last... we want a good body. you have to have at least some cheat, not flat. your butt can vary, most guys like it but some don't care. If you need make up, don't put on too much, it looks trampy. Hope it helps you out.
11! my god, you shouldn't be thinking of getting a BF at 11! wait until you are older Little girl. But if you really like him, telling him will get you nowhere. try to like what he likes, unless he is disgusted by girls. then in that case wait until he is 13.

Unfortunately, appearances are what get women noticed. If you are not good looking, then you will need to make yourself noticed. That's a bit harder to do than just sitting around looking good, and having the guys chase you because of that.
Being funny is usually the second thing. A sense of humor can eventually pick up the slack in the looks department, and most relationships are determined by a compatible sense of humor.
#3 on the list is having something in common. Maybe you are both extremely political, or religious, or you both do band, or drama, or sports... (Volleyball, dancing, cheerleading, and gymnastics are all good, generally in that order.)
Finally, you have to be understanding, a good listener, friendly, etc...

Good question. It really does vary, and every guy's ideal is different. Generally, though, guys look for confidence, kindness, compassion, straighforwardness, and humor in personality.
Now when you get to looks, the spectrum is widened. I can only say that guys will like girls who dress stylishly -- and there are many different definitions for 'style.' The good ones look for beauty over 'hotness.'

looks to some guys are important,but what really counts is what's on the inside,as for personality,i think a fun loving,caring type of girl is a winner,straight off

The first thing I notice is looks. But it comes down to personality. She may be attractive on the outside, but ugly inside.
