Your soul is eternal. Death is only to the physical body. Nothing to fear.

We all fear death. That's why religions were created. They help people deal with the fear of death (by pretending that death isn't really the end of life) and they allow a form of social control.

I think we fear death (i) because we don't know what it's "like" to be dead (ii) we are biologically wired to want to continue and procreate, so we're hard wired to fear death; and (iii) because we just can't imagine the world going on without us in it.

But let's suppose that death is nothing more than the end of life. All that means is that whatever we were before we were born, that's what we'll be after we die. How many of us spend time grieving over the fact that for millions of years the earth existed without us before we were born?

So think what you want to do with your life and take a few risks to try to do it, cherish the glory of what a great thing it is to be alive whenever the fear of death comes over you, be courageous or reckless enough fall in love at least once, and make sure that when you're gone, someone is left behind who is better off because you lived. That's a formula for a pretty good life.

The certainty of death is hard to take, but it does make life all the sweeter.

The fear of death is the fear of the unknown. Unless you know the truth about death and the afterlife it will remain an unknown. If you have not received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour then you have good reason to fear death because "it is destined a man once to die, and after that comes judgement". If you are a true born again Christian then death holds no fear for you because Jesus Christ conquered death through His resurrection. Death is a result of sin and God's judgement on sin. But Christians are guaranteed eternal life through Jesus Christ.

If you knew The Way and The Truth and The Life, you would not fear death... Because you would know that you were never going to die.

Surely we are going to grow old and eventually die in this present system of things. Then why so many people fear death? The reason is because God originally created perfect humans to live forever. Humans were not meant to be born, grow old, grow older, and older, and our teeth & hairs fall off, and we die. It all started in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve deliberately disobeyed our creator God and ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and bad. They sinned and became imperfect and slowly dying. Their offsprings inherited their sins that's why we all have to grow old and die. The wages sin pays is death.

Does that mean God forgot about us and abandoned his original purpose? Absolutely not. God promised his people long time ago that he is going to correct what Adam & Eve had lost. God will bring obedient mankind back to his original purpose, that is for mankind to have everlasting life living in paradise earth.

Feel free to visit the website below to learn how you can gain that everlasting life. The life that God had intended for us to live.

The fear of death is programed into all human DNA. The survival instint is in charge. Do not fear death, you will just shed your soul carrier and move on to a higher vibration.

People fear what they do not know. Jesus told us He is the Resurrection and the Life. Jesus is also the Way, and the Truth. To a practicing Christian, this should mean they are not afraid to die

When I think about death I think about how many different and creative ways I could die. Everybody will die so in the end it does not make a difference.
