Usually, the songs that you download from limewire would be in MP3 format. You then drag the finished downloading song into your MP3 folder.

Also, everytime you download a song, it will automatically be put into a folder. You can change the folder by going to Tools and then Options. It would be easier as you won't need to drag them.
