emotional health is an extreme part of your overall health. I read a book recently and in it a doctor stated that almost 40% of the illnesses that come in are created just from emotional distress and can be fixed themselves by elimination of worry and stress.... So many people are stressed out and worried these days its crazy! Worrying and stressing can lead to several health problems... such as stomache ulcers, heart problems, diabetes, arthritus. Things that can effect you long term. But where do all these problems start? with your emotions and worry. That is why it is so important to take time for yourself to relax and make sure you are happy.

Here are a couple of quotes from King Solomon, known as the world's wisest man;

Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Your mental well-being can and does affect your physical health. example: if you are depressed, you show physical signs of the depression-lake of appetite, not wanting to talk to anyone, not enjoying everday activity etc.

it has a lot to do with your physical health. i think it has to do with the hormone "noroprinephrine" or something. this interferes with the imbalance of seratonin and boom!! physical pains!! lol
