Can any one out there tell me if that law proposed in Ca. managed to get passed........I was told that they where trying to get ALL pits or pit look alikes put down regardless..............ie the BSL...... I have tried to find this out for sure but not really very clear if it got passed.
Reason is that I have a pit who is the biggest softie in the world [unless you break in lol lol] and if it got passed there then it may just travel into my state.
Help and advice most welcome. Thank you

pianoplayer I totally agree with you BUT there is a current section of the law in Ca where it will either be passed or not, depends on who votes which way I suppose................my pit is 60lbs of softie and a complete idiot....but even so wold not test her too far regarding someone she was not aware of and even then NEVER when I was not close by...........I love her to death but still would not ever risk losing her due to me being careless and putting her in a bad situation

Call your local legislator and/or your local police station and ask. It's that simple. They are civil servants and are there to help civilians. I call my local police frequently and ask them questions. That what taxes are for!

if they do thats gonnabe the stupidist law ever just because some pitts to bite people doesnt mean that everyone will bite someone or something. thats sorta like being racist .. i would give an example but i dont want to offend anyone ill just say its like being sexist like assuiming that just because one girl may be bad a basketball that all girls are bad at basketball so the boys won't pass to them because they think they suck and that they are better or something ya....i didn't know a law was gonna be passed on that ...

i'm not positive, but i don't hink it's been passed. (at least not yet)
