if you can't find any scars the only way to tell is to take her to the vet. Please spay her if you find out she isn't already.

Even veterinarians cannot always be sure if a cat is spayed or not. Even when the stomach is shaved the scar is not always visible.
Any stray cat should go to the vet for a check anyway. Keep her indoors as you will soon know if she is "fertile" as going into heat is an undeniable situation. I assume an ultrasound could be done to determine if the reproductive organs are still present in her body and that cost around $350 so it is best to spend the money on her general health, blood work, shots, worming etc. and wait to see if she goes into heat or not.

The cat is only spayed if it does not go in heat. You should go for a visit tok the vet when you get her normal shots and ask them to see if she has been spayed. They can tell before anyone else. Plus you don't see stitches most of the time cause they use the invisible stitches.

I agree with these people. Your best bet is to take her to the vets and they will check if she's spayed and/or has a Microchip if she's a missing cat. Plus you don't know if she's utd on shots. She should be a healthy cat to get spayed if she's not already.

Well you can take her in to the vet and have him check for a spay incision, discuss it with him/her. Good luck and god bless for taking in this little stray.

If she hasn't been spayed she will go in heat, and you will know if she's in heat. Usually this will be about every month, but it can differ in eack cat.

You need to take her to the vet anyways to get her shots and make sure she is healthy so I'm sure they can tell you or figure it out. Thanks for taking in a homeless cat.
