That person was President Truman and although their are many reports that the war against the Japanese could have ended without using a nuclear weapon you can't prosecute him because it was and still is considered an act of war. Remember that they attacked the US first at Pearl Harbor. Saddam on the other hand massacred the Kurds only because he was trying to maintain control of that region of Iraq.

There is no comparison between the two situations. Rebelious Kurds could have been dealt with using other means than killing whole villages. But before you crank up trials for the atomic bomb drops why not crank some up for the Europeans who used firebombs in late WWII. I could argue that the atomic bombs helped bring WWII to an abrupt end while firebombing Dresden was little more than retrobution.

Incorrect. Learn the facts. Saddam was put on trial for allegedly ordering the execution of a couple hundred dissidents. The puppet iraqi court controlled by the USA specifically DID NOT try Saddam for chemical weapons on Iran because that would expose USA's role in stirring up mideast turmoil.

?? That has to be the most illogical comparison that I have *ever* seen. It's like comparing apples and orangutans... totally unbelievable.
