Your body may be low on potassium. Eat some bananas.

Do you stand a lot throughout the day? Cause that could be your problem. I use to have a job where I stood a lot, and my calf's felt a lot like that. Have someone massage your calfs everyday or night, or you could do it I guess, and drink a lot of water. Also take baths, the warm water relaxes your muscles and relieves tension.

Sometimes if you do not have enough potassium in your system it will give you leg craps and I am not to sure if it will make twitches also. I also know that if you have too much Vitamin B in your system from energy drinks or coffee drinks or much Vitamins then that can make you twitch in certain areas.

I don't know but I have the same problem, do you by any chance have rather large calf muscles? I do I was wondering if that might be it.

Could be your nerves. I have this same problem sometimes, some people call it a "tick" and it's your nerves spasming/twitching. Talk to your doctor about it.

Most likely your experiencing muscle spasms. Ask your doctor about this. I get them now and then, but for two years?
