I have been friends with this girl since high school. Six years later...I still have feelings for her. I never dated her. She moved away and was in a relationship for 5 years. She recently broke up with her bf.

Now, she lives about a hour away for school. We went on a road trip and hooked up (made out). We didn't have sex. We held each other each night we fell asleep. At the end of the road trip, she said she didn't want a relationship right now because of work and school. We kept kissing when I dropped her off.

I might move to the same city where she lives after I finish school in 8 months. I told her I'm afraid of losing her again because I felt like she was out of my grasp when she moved away and was in a relationship. She said maybe I never lost her because she always wanted to be with me.

We always kept in touch throughout the years. She said she doesn't want me to be afraid of losing her. I totally see myself falling in love with her. What do I do on the long run?

well of course stay friends with her. she probably just worried because of her last break up. give her some time. im sure she will come around, cause it sounds like you both really care for each other. if you do decide to move it will bring yall closer together and so will sticking around till shes ready. dont push her to much though cause she needs to decide in her own time. just let her know how you feel about her and that your there for her when shes ready.

Just make sure you keep in touch with her. If it is meant for you two to be together, you will. Some of the best marriages/relationships, people started off as friends. It sounds like she has some feelings, but right now she is trying to make sure she is stable, so that she will be ready for a relationship in the future. Before you move to another city, make sure you and her are on the same page. Hope it works out for you.

You probably actually need advice from a guy who'se been there.

The main question is whether she really likes you or whether you are the "spare" tire guy substituting for the previous befriend.

Relationships in school mostly don't last but yours has some serious potential. I'd say, set her up so you can talk to her in YAHOO messenger to keep in touch.

Whatever you do in terms of moving, do an approach that helps you whether or not your relationship works out.

Obviously, its easier make relationship work if you live in the same city. But the technology is there.

Or and, call her. Not too much but enough to know you are thinking of her. Girls like to be appreciated but rarely like a "puppy" dog.

I'd say start sending out your resume where she lives a couple of months before school finishes. It sounds like you may just end up being with your best friend, and that's a good thing.

I shure hope she knows how lucky she is. I would if i were you just keep letting her know your still there. Send her cards and flowers and let her know how much you care for her. Then when the time is right it will happen. That is if she is smart. Keep up the good work. not many left in this world like you.

if u really truly want her, and depending on ur age, keep her in your grasp anyway u can, and when u both are old enough, and want to have sex with each other, propose.
