VideoLan player will run WMV.

It's cross platform too, so I have it on my Windows system and my Linux systems, I haven't ever used a Mac, but their feature chart shows that this version is WMV capable.

Edit: Windows Media Player for Mac has been officially discontinued by Microsoft, I noticed the post below mine recommends it, but still it shouldn't be used even if you find a copy flating around somewhere.

Edit: Use one of the Mac OS X nightly builds, these are not stable, but WMV playback is supported.

Be sure to update as soon as a new stable version is out!

The nightlies are sorted by build date, so grab the latest one.

You need Windows Media Player for Mac, which you can download from microsoft. Are you talking about files on your hard drive or streaming video? I've found that sometimes streaming wmv on a Mac is choppy even with a fast connection.
