i love him to death and we have been together for 8 months but i dont get flowers and he never really wants to go to the movies i know hes short on cash but how can i fix this and get him to be more romantic towards me?

Give him hints.
For example:whenever you two are watching a movie and the man does something romantic for the woman, say something like "oh thats so romantic. hes so sweet." out loud for your boyfriend to hear.
You could also ask him to go on a walk and say things like "wouldnt it be nice if we took a blanket with us to the park and stared at the stars?" to him.
but if he doesnt get the subtle hints, i suggest talking to him and bluntly asking him why he isnt more romantic, or suggesting you two do things romantically together . discuss what you both think is romantic.

You can tell him how flattered you would feel if he was a little more romantic, as simple as that. That it would make you so happy to get a card, or a single rose (since he is low on Cash), a box of chocolates, or a little teddy bear just because...because he loves you... you could also show him how much you care about him, by giving him little details (they don't have to be expensive, but thoughtful) You could even get the newspaper and help him find a part time job...If he loves you, he will get the idea :) Good Luck with your relationship!!!!

Well if you are having sex just hold off on him.. dont let him even make out with you. Eventually he will get the point and one of two things will happen. He will either cheat on you or be more romantic to get what he wants. Atually either way.. youre better off finding a new boyfriend.

maybe you need to tell him what romantic is to you. Not everyone sees it the same. I know I've been married for 4 yrs and we still give a different answer as to what romance is. he can't read your mind. Try making him a candle lit dinner. If you show him that might go even further! Good Luck!

well one thing u should know is u cant change people if he wasn't romantic when u met him how much do u think hes going to change since the relationship is still pretty new take a couple of steps back and do some evaluating of the relationship and ask yourself is it worth staying around

you can't change someone. If he's not romantic now then he probably never wioll be. However, try talking to him adn explaining your needs adn ask himwhat his are...he may just be the kind of guy that is embarrassed to reveal his true emotions. instead of the movies try free things like picnics in the park, walks on the beach.......good luck NBv

The only way to get a more romantic boyfirend is to trade him in for a romantic one. The only way some women get gifts for b'days and valentine's etc is when they buy them for themselves. How sad!

You should just ask to go to the movies. You should also help pay for the movie as a start and then he should get a part time job. If he doesn't like that than you should nudge him and be just a tad bit pushy. Say I would realy like to go to the movies, please snookums"

romance is our thing ,,,boring is theirs ,its hard to get them to make us a cuppa let alone get then to think of romantic things ,they need you to spell it out to them ,boys take a lot longer to grow up and see that they might lose their mate if they dont keep to certain rules like buying flowers and thinking ,of nice things to do for us ,,,,,tell him what you want so at least he has it in his mid ,its the only way it will get there hehe

u cant make someone romantic. either he just naturally is and likes to be or he's not and u wanting it isnt gonna make it happen. and if u try it'll just cause many fights but hey u do whatever.
