Ok, I had the same problem with my tragus a little while back. Don't worry it's nothing serious, just a little unsightly. What I did (which worked in less than a week) was, I went out and bought Tea Tree Oil. This can be found at any pharmacy for around $10. What you do is put a drop or two on a q-tip and apply it to the bump/jewelry then rotate your jewelry to help it get into the piercing. If you find that the oil is too strong for your skin, try diluting it with a bit of water.
THE WORST thing to do is to put alcohol/peroxide on it, this kills healthy skin around the piercing which will make the scar tissue (which is what that bump is) worse. Also stay away from ointments like neosporin.
So go out to your local pharmacy and pick up Tea Tree Oil (the 100% pure Australian, it comes in a little brown bottle) use it up to twice daily, and within a week or two you will be quite happy.

Oh I think I had something similar to that happen to me as well.
It kind of looked like a pimple but popping it/pimple meds didn't help.
If this sounds like it may be the same thing...
How I got rid of it was along with cleaning the piercing as I was instructed I took a q-tip with hydrogen peroxide on it and held it on both sides of the piercing, rotated the ring and then did it again. I did this every other day and the bump slowly disappeared.
Other than this cleaning don't mess with it because I believe it’s a cist from the piercing covering up a skin cell that can't breath. Messing with the piercing can agitate it even more. I did this and after the bump shrunk down it hasn't returned!
Hope this helped!

Well, unfortunately i don't think it will ever go away. When you get cartiliage peirced, you can't just peirce it like your earlobe, you should go to a tatoo place or somewhere that specializes in peircing because they use a tool that takes a little peice of cartiliage out. Cartiliage can't be stretched, that's why you got that bump ........

Sounds like a water bubble...you may need to take the earring out a couple of hours a day until it goes away.If becomes red,and really painful,or puss starts pushing out,you should really take it out for good.

you want to enable your ears heal out of your failed piercing attempt previously getting them done. yet no, i do not imagine that that they had say something. i do not see why they does not do it, regardless of the indisputable fact that that's going to damage more desirable because it will be dealing with scar tissue.

That sounds like a Keloid, which is scar tissue. Go to a dermatologist and they can inject cortisone into it and it will flatten it.
