Yes indeed, if you do not rinse it out thoroughly it can make your hair very lank and greasy looking.

Awful in what way? The wrong conditioner can definitely make hair look limp and/or greasy (and even damaged if you're using one with protein all the time.)

People are saying to rinse really well, but actually to hold more moisture leaving a little bit in is the key. But sometimes if i leave too much in then put in like smotthing stuff for my hair and leave in conditioner it will feel soft and not greasy but look greasy.

dont use to much of it it can make your hair greasy,also dont apply conditioner to the roots it can weigh hair down,only apply conditioner to the ends.

Yes, make sure you rinse well. I have a problem with oiliness at the roots so I only condition the ends of my hair.

sometimes conditioner makes my hair look bad too but it is might be because you are useing to much, just use a pea sized amount.

Could be your diet. Not eating enough from each food group.

Hard water can cause a problem too.

Maybe use neutrogena shampoo for buildup products remover.

If you're not using the right kind, it could be damaging your hair. Also, if you're washing your hair everyday, then your hair becomes flaky and you don't want that to happen. Good luck! ;-)
