Liking your cousin may be due to the fact you are both the same age and into the same things. Sounds like you have known each other all of your lives. While the best relationships involve a sense of friendship, a relationship with a cousin can create horrible situations. How do you think the rest of the family will feel about these emotions and your telling him that you like him. What do you hope to gain from telling him?

In my opinion stay friends and cousins do not jeopardize the relationship you have with Dylan.

Why have you asked the question of whether or not it's ok? What is your conscience telling you?

It's OK to be friends with your cousin but anything more then that is just wrong in all ways you could possibly think of. My son and niece were very close but I would have killed both of them if they would have even tried anything more then hanging out with each other. To this day they still hang out when they get a chance but they would never try to do anything with each other. That's Incest if you did do anything together.
Incest is a game the whole family can play ewwww!!!!!!!!

You can like your cousin but don't like him in a relationship way that is incest it is wrong to have a relationship with your family member. You need to stay best friends only. Just tell yourself that you will always like him. But remember this do not get yourself in a trap to like him any more than a relationship. ok I hope this helps.

Well to have feelings toward your cousin. Well, nothing inherently wrong with those feelings. However, to act upon, such as date or marriage, then in most states this would not only be morally and ethically wrong it would be illegal.

This all of course depends on how far removed this cousin is. Is this your 1st, 2nd, 3rd cousin? I believe it has to be your 3rd cousin before it is legal to marry.

Nothing wrong with liking your cousin, you may have alot in common, you share a bloodline. I had a crush on my cousin.he was older, I think I just admired him ,this is when he joined the airforce. Just remember you are family and you couldnt have a love, love relationship. But at least you know what qualities you would look for in a bf,

There are certain rules that exist because of the increased risk of birth defects from children born of close blood relatives. Studies vary in terms of determining how risky these unions are. The basic principle is that when two blood relatives have a child, they both share similar recessive genes which are more likely to appear and to contain detrimental traits. Cousins usually share a common set of grandparents (though it can be only one grandparent) and one-half of the genetic pool. Second cousins usually share a common set of great-grandparents and one-fourth of the genetic pool. Third cousins usually share a set of great-great-grandparents and one-eighth of the genetic pool. However, your child will only have one-half of your genetic pool and would only share one-sixteenth of the genetic pool with your third cousin. That is a very small amount. Either way you look at it, even if you don't think you will have children with him...it's still wrong!!!! It says so in the bible. "None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD."

I hate to agree with your other cousin, but yes it is wrong to like your cousin. If anything ever went beyond liking and you have children together, then they could be deformed unless you all are cousins by marriage only.

It's not considered normal and you would be highly criticized by society if you two were in a relationship. Really think things through before you decide to tell him how you're feeling. You may be mis-reading him and he might think you're really gross for liking him that way. Is that a chance you want to take?

Morally, yes.Maybe if it was thousands of years ago, back when you could marry your cousin...but today, that is a big no no!Why don't you try getting to know some people who aren't so close to your family tree.Might find someone you like, just as much...

In my opinion though, that is just nasty.

To each it's own though,so....
