How do you bleach patches into your hair?

I'm dying my hair and I want to put patches of blond in my hair but i'm not really sure of how to do it. I have the general idea but that's all so could someone help me please?

Well Dear, there are many different ways to bleach hair, since you want to do patches I suggest you take the pieces out that you want to bleach and take a piece of foil and bleach then wrap it and leave it until it turns the color that you want, mean while you could dye the rest of the hair so you would not get the color on that part that your bleaching.
