Think about what it would be like to get back together with her to decide if you'd really want to. If so, ask her if she still has those feelings for you. If not, nothing lost, you were just curious. But if so, and you're into the idea, BIG gain!

If she tends to be the flirty type then she probably was not ready for commitment and just decided it would be better to just flirt with you instead of having that commitment with you.
