The striking tabletops answers will work. But messy. The lighter answer will also work- the caveat being you must have strong hands. Canned beer tastes like metal. Ugh. Twist off bottle tops are typically also cheap beer. And tastes like such. The answer is your teeth. A little practice (or in my case a LOT of practice) results in a quick clean painless opening.
Did I also mention I'm an alcoholic?

Hold the edge of the lid on the edge of a counter top (not the rounded ones the flat cornered one, 90degree ones) and hit the top of the bottle open handed this should pop the lid off you might have to do it twice. My 22 year old GF can do it Im sure you can. Just make sure you hit the bottle straight down and not at an angle

I know many people that can use a lighter (the solid Bic type, not the clear ones) to pop off a top. Wrap your hand under the cap and lever the lighter against your thumb.
Also, the kitchen drawers in a lot of places I've lived have been ideal for opening beers.

Align the edges of the bottle cap ontop of a hard flat surface ie countertop. Slap the top of the bottle in a downward motion. Its easy you'll get the handle of it real quick.

With the bottom of a bic lighter.
With your teeth.
Hit the top down onto a hard corner (such as a table corner).
On the inside of a car door (where the door latches).

Gte one of those rubber pads you can find them at walmart and then just put it over the cap and twist with all your might or you could just use your hands and cut your self i've done that before and i couldnt even open up my hand it hurt too much

take a cloth, cover the top and and pop it against the edge of a hard counter. The top should come off. Thats how they do it in the movies anyway. LOL.

get a sturdy table or bench/chair.
put the lip of the bottletop against the edge ot the table
put the palm of your hand on the bottletop and push downwards
granite tops are good, cheaper ones chip :)
