Nissan never imported the Skyline. Japan Skyline cars are illegal because they do not meet American smog or safety standards. Cars that are imported must be smog certified and Department of transportation saftey equiptment installed. Have you ever driven a Right hand drive car in the united states? Very scary passing slow traffic on a two lane road. The American 350z is already a great car why not buy a car that is less than 15 years old?

Nope! Without going into the various reason, here's the #1 reason why.

They stopped making the Skylines back in 2002.

Some can argue they still have the Skyline in Japan but it's just really the Japanese version of the G35 coupe with really no difference.

The new Skylines are supposed to hit our shores in 2008 at a rumored cost of $70k.

The infiniti G35 is the american version of the Nissan Skyline. Supposedly the Skyline GTR was to make its debut in 07 in the states.

I asked my cousin that question a week ago. He said you have to buy it from Japan and have it delivered here or something like that. But it probably cost more to have it delivered to you then the price of the car. The new 2007/08 model from Nissan is releasing April 12, 2007. But only that one will be available to us costing around 70 thousand.
