My husband can't remember the name of this cupcake he had as a kid and is driving me nuts lol. He said it had icing like a zinger but thicker & it was chocolate. It had two thin chocolate cakes with chocolate frosting inbetween them. He may just be nuts lol but he said this was his favorite growing up & if I could figure out what is was called he would be happy :) Any ideas?

Something like:

Hmmm....maybe hubby isn't so crazy. I'm not sure if i found what he is talking about, but there seems to be a lot of people out there searching for the all but forgotten snack cakes of their youth. Check out this site.

Here's another one to check out. Scroll down and it describes the Hostess Choco-Bliss snack cake (1980's)

Maybe it was called Tastykakes. I think you can find them mainly on the East Coast.
