I met this guy in college. He's from Chicago & both parents are lawyers. He's about 5'5 and 125#.He has long thin black hair, tattoos, and a tounge ring. He wears big baggy clothes, loves to flaunt his parents' money and flashy cars, and drinks and smokes extensively. We talk almost every night online and on the phone. When we do, he expresses how into me he is and how he will do anything for me, he loves me unconditionally, etc.He knows I feel the same way.We don't see each other much in person b/c of both of our overloaded schedules, but when we do, he gets extremely nervous. I mean, to the point of physically shaking. This can even be when I'm doing nothing more than sitting next to him, just talking. He also doesn't say much in person, I'm usually the one that does all the talking. One day, shortly after I met him, after class,he wanted to show me the tattoo on his back. When he took off his shirt, I could see that he was visibly shaking. Why is this?? How can I get him to relax?

The guy is a wussy doesn't know what to do around girls, I bet you big money that he will not make a good lover. I think that Ithe main reason your probably attracted to him becasue he seems like an unpredicable guy, but if he does not know what to do around a girl he is not much of a man

Well, he probably doesnt' have alot of social experience, it sounds like. he may not be sure what he's supposed to behsharing or what you want to hear or what the social norms are. he may also be suffering from depression and dealing with that is also a hard thing to deal with. the phone and being onlien may siomply be moe comfortable for him. as for gettign him to talk coem up with a list of topic and just ask hi what he thinks about different things and make sure the thigns are not yes or no questions. ask open ended questions. liek tell me more about your job asopposed to do you liek your job ask, what do you like abiut your job and then ask why do you like your job and then if he happens to work at wal mart you cna talk about like how pickles ar elike, 3 bucks for a whole big jar or something and how cool that is or whatever. or if you are of the mindset youc na talk about why the prices are so low. the key is to gethim talking about what's in his head. you cna graduate to gfeelings as he gets more comfortable. the key is to get him to feel comfortable with you and talking. it helps to know about his interests. it helps if he actually trusts you and feels liek youa rne't sgoing to judge him. you have to find the itnerest that makes him light up! get him to talk about hat and he'll talk about ANYTHING! you'll really tap into his feelings. the shaking is probably a medical condition caused by the smoking. he may be on drugs though you haven't said so. he may also have a nervosa disorder. i'd tell him you are concerned and ask him to get himself checked out. as ford the talking try doing an activbity together and see if that lossens him up a bit with the topics as well.

Maybe he flaunts his money and parents because he is insecure about maybe having a disorder like turrets or the one Michael J fox has. Some people try to hide it so they can feel normal.

Give him a nice smile and tell him that he can always trust you. He'll really relax and be genuinely happy. :)

i think the key thing is.. if you love someone... i think you should at least be comfortable around them....so they can be themselves around you. be them and that they know you'll love them for wat they are and who they are. theres no need to be nervous.
