because carpets are just a way to look fancier ( fancy in a house ) and boys try to look fancy to impress ladies. So a carpet is trying to impress people into thinking they're fancy and boys be fancy to impress the laides. ( i think )

Because women like to walk all over us, and if we get a little dirty with other women wanting to walk all over us, they beat the dust out of us. But if no other women look at us, they discard us for some Persian import.
