I have a black labrador I named Odin.
The name is from the Norse God called Odin, ruler of the universe. My labby rules his universe!!
Also I have a rottweiler called Loki.
The name is the the name of the Norse creature who is always playing tricks on the Gods. My rotti is a real clown. She is a 60kilo dog who thinks she is the size of a small terrier & acts accordingly
I love them both to bits :-)
Funny how names suit different personalities.

Whatever sounds good to you. I used to have a border collie named Sam. He had already been named and was given to my family cause he liked to chase cows and jump up on people. I loved him though, and even though some people laughed at the name I thought it fit him pretty good.
