I have got a new camera for Christmas, and I just uploaded pictures on my computer. I want to upload some on my myspace, but it says the pictures Im trying to put on there are to big, I was wondering how I could resize it by something on my computer or by downloading a program, but please, if you give me a program, please check and see if there is a trial or if its something I have to buy, I want something origonal just to resize my picture, thanks!

Assuming you are using Windows XP, you can go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
and download IMAGE RESIZER. The link to download it is located on the right side of the webpage (only about 500kb file, so very small). Once installed, you can right-click on a picture and select resize picture. It will give you the option of resizing to Small, Medium, or Large. The new image will be given the same name of your original image + (small, medium, or large). Best of all, your original image will be untouched and you will have the resized image also. Also, it is very unobtrusive and works GREAT! Hope this helps!

If you look for a simple to use and fast image converter try AZImage (see reference). It has some nice features and it does not sacrifice the simple user interface for that. What I personally like is the quality of the output and the nice integration in windows explorer.
