How long does paint need to cure until I can have the carpets cleaned in that room?

Of course, if the carpet cleaners are careful and don't bump the walls, it won't be a problem, but you never know! I'm guessing 1-2 days? Obviously the shorter the better!

give latex 24 hours and oil at least 48 hours it also depends on air circulation

I would wait 1 day if the paint is latex and if it's oil base wait three oh by the way it is refreshing to hear correct paint terminology very few people do.
