how do u over come doubting someone?

ive been in an online realtionship with someone since july of 2006 weve never met face to face but my heart beats and contiues to telling me to hold on but hes told me once hed be here and couldnt make it for personal reasons well now hes do in to see me again but do if he dont make it in this time what am i suppose to do or is this a reason feel doubtful?
