My son has this problem, I got some HEAD AND SHOULDERS- FOR OILY HAIR! and it seems to work.

do not use a conditioner.

Use a leave in conditioner, but only apply to the ends!

store-bought shampoos make your hair oily.

If you keep your hands in your hair, it gets oily.

If you over-condition, it gets oily.

You NEED a professional shampoo that is for oily hair. They will pick your hair up off your scalp and keep it from getting so oily during the day.

ALSO, If the shamppo you are using IS from the store, it ONLY TAKES A SMIDGEON OF SHAMPOO---to lather your hair. People use WAY TOO MUCH, when it only takes a LITTLE BIT.
Same for the conditioner--Just a TAD will do.

ESPECIALLY if you shampoo DAILY, which is KILLING your hair, by the way, --you NEED that professional shampoo. They are
CONCENTRATED and it takes SO little. You SAVE MONEY when you buy a GOOD,(did I say 'professional'?) shampoo.
It takes so little for your daily 'poos.
Also, when you shampoo---break your shampoo down in your hands FIRST, by rubbing them together with the shampoo IN YOUR HANDS. Apply the shampoo UNDER YOUR HAIR.
You apply it to the SCALP and shampoo JUST YOUR SCALP.
NO FINGERNAILS__EVER!!!!

Your hair is going to get the lather either when you squish it through your hair(e-a-s-y)---or when you rinse.
You shampoo your SCALP, NOT your hair.
