12 rounds, light heavyweight division. Who do you think would take it?

Frank, I respect Joe, by all means, and I know that he'll write boxing history when he beats Peter Manfredo Jr. in his next match, but that all still doesn't mean that he would be able to defeat Adamek. This would, in my opinion, be a very bad match up for him. Adamek is taller, faster and technically superior and his conditioning is absolutely perfect in every match. So, I really think that, all that aggresion and pressure making that Joe usually relies on wouldn't work here at all. To be honest, to me this looks exactly like Adamek - Briggs 1 and 2, so an incredible match, a true boxing classic, but Adamek by close, hard earned, decision in the end.

I have seen that you have given me the upmost respect by saying i am the best answerer in answers but i also realise from this question that you know i am going to disagree, i know you love Adamek but you also know that i cannot put him in the same bracket as Calzaghe until i have seen enough of him to make me think that he is a challenger, until then the jury is still out.
What i would say is the next defence that Calzaghe makes is an all time record and hopefully he might get some respect after this.

I think Calzaghe would, he is stronger and has more boxing skill, taking nothing away from Adamek, who is a top level fighter as well, just not at Joe's level
