You've HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD and I've said it many times! They only believe that Freedom of Speech applies to them, and are hypocrites of the worst order!
Just express your view that homoseualiity is wrong and abnormal, and they will try to either silence you or would kill you if they had they had the opportunity.
This is not surprising, seeing that they're always claiming to be for peace and worried about who's getting killed in Iraq, when they're for the murder of the unborn here. They're hypocrites from head to toe, liberals.

I think you might be thinking this because historically liberals are the ones that have the idea's when it comes to things such as freedom, freedom of speech, etc. Liberals just tend to voice their unhappiness when any class of people is being put down. Most Conservatives I know, and I know plenty are not quiet about their feelings nor are they easily quited. It may just be that you can have 100,000 people saying their against gay or interracial marriage and 5 liberals and gay people actually speaking up against their views. Watch Larry King and such. I think Liberals tend to stay calmer because conservatives tend to be coming from a point of view brought upon by their religion. Go and try to voice an opinion that's not favorable to Bush and see how many people report you. Crazy world we live in. Good Question though. '-)

What are you talking about? You should be providing examples of how this denial of free speech is operating. Free speech is a two way street. If you don't like what liberals have to say just keep speaking. Trust me, you will not be arrested.
If you are simply referring to the fact that some liberals tend to have things to say that upset you and make you look like an idiot, well, THAT is free speech.
Stop your baby-like whining.

They're worse than that, they actually try to control thought by creating new words or chanigng the definition of words. It's a trick stollen from the communists, who used it in a big way in Cambodia, actually rewriting the language and killing off everyone who had recieved enough education to remember the dictionary definitions of the old words.
I'll give you an example. What's the wrod for somebody who dissaproves of homosexuality - a homophobe. A phobia is a mental illness leading to irrational fear. The very word for someone who dissaproves of homosexuality implies the person disaproving is mentally ill, irational, and fearful.
"Tollerant," is another example. "Tollerant" used to mean you wouldn't destroy the thing you disaproved of. They changed the word to mean you approve of it. That means they changed the definition of "Intollerant," from meaning wanting to destroy something, to simply disaproving.
Of course criticizing those they disagree with is not intollerant.
Also they say you shouldn't label or generalize. Without being able to label, one can't even think about something. WIthout being able to generalize, one cannot speak about policies regarding groups.
It's all very 1984. Newspeak and all.

No one has the power to deny another person their freedom of speech without breaking the law (kidnappng, illegally detaining, etc). If this is how someone is attempting to deny or actively denying someone else their freedom of speech, it doesn't matter who they are or what their viewpoint on a given topic is, they are a criminal.
While inconvenient, anything else (even disagreement), is not denying or attempting to deny anyone their freedom of speech.

They're either very thin skinned or silently fear that their positions are groundless, houses of cards. People who are confident that their beliefs on political, moral, religious matters, etc usually can handle the fact that others disagree with them without assuming that everyone who disagrees must be a hateful, ignorant, bigot.

You trying to force you beliefs "that being gay is wrong" is hurtful
Liberals and gay people can let you live your life and be a Christian and that doesn't bother them.However you can't give the same amount of respect to other people you have to insult and call names.

NO they aren't defending anything--they are trying to say and make people realize what is really going on...society as a whole still can't accept the gay peeps so they just try to speak louder--just like abortionist do

I dunno, why do those who Jehovah or Allah want to restrict my freedom of speech so I can't speak out against them?
I'd give my life so that you could keep believing what you do, but I doubt you'd be willing to give your life so I can believe in a different god.
