God originally gave Adam dominion over the whole earth, but in his pride, he traded it away to Satan, in exchange for the knowledge of good and evil.

Jesus promises to restore all things.

Those who trust in God instead of themselves (the meek) will one day regain all that Adam had lost ... and will literally inherit (once again have dominion over) the earth.

Never on earth my friend. The slogan on this earth is "The survival of the fittest and the bravest!" But in heaven it is "The survival of the meakest and humblest!"

So you have a very relevant question there: Since when did being meek ever achieve anything. That never happens here on earth. But it will be when selfish kings and people who do not want to follow the rules of the King of kings and Lord of lords in the earth made new will be a reality.

The jews were meek and went to the gas chambers. They collectively decided that a State of Israel and a strong defence force would serve them better. I think they made the right choice if the Teheran conference on the holocaust is anything to go by.

You wrongfully mistake meekness for weakness.
Meekness is a humility that you adopt as an attitude.
But it takes a great deal of strength to adopt humility, and maintain it.

The prideful strive after only the top 1% of the world, and rarely make their goal.
But that leaves 99% for the meek.

It doesn't mean what you think it means.

When the second coming of Jesus occurs, there is going to be a big battle between good and evil (the Devil & Jesus) Once this battle is over, all the evil people in the worl will be given their punishment.

Once this is over and good prevails, the meek 'the good peple' will inherit the earth and live in peace and harmony.

meekness is someone that is patients and mild tempered, most people that have ever accomplished any thing have to have patients, and being mild tempered will be very helpful if you want to keep a lot of people following you and being your friend, and with that many people behind anyone, you could inherit the earth just on attitude....who would you rather work with someone that acts like a person out of control or someone that is calm during crisis and problems....now who do you thing is worthless

Meek is not to be week but to be patient. When others fight among themselves everyone thinks that they themselves are the soul holder of the correct answer. The meek may think this but when things are coming to a fight he can dissuade the situation and take control.

Meek is the humble ones.. The lower or humble you are the more exalted you are. Just imagine God himself took form in to becoming Christ. A simple man.. Teacher, of the poor and rich.. He humbled himself amoung men.. How much more humble canyou be. To be a God, then a servant of men? Then he said Go and spread the good news (gospel) and mirror me. So to be humble is meek..
