Most correct way would be AWAY from the genitalia...so, wipe from front to back.

Also, try the flushable "wet wipes" sold next to the regular toilet tissue for more effective and thorough cleansing.

If you are female it is important to wipe from front to back to prevent infection, especially e-coli. I would imagine that a man too would wipe the same way to prevent "poopie" from getting smeared in the "yonder region" LOL, have to be carefull with the wording, would not want to get reported for abuse!
