You need to expend more calories than you take in. Keep in mind tha one pound is a whoping 3000 calories. Start out ingesting only 1500 calories a day. Keep in mind that the food you ingest must be healthy and provide the nutrients your body needs. The average female body will burn 1900 calories in one day just functioning.

Exercise! I cant say that enough. Set a fitness goal, like walking 5 miles a day, and work your way up to it. Just keep moving!

Diets don't work.... Someone who wants to lose weight and keep it off needs to make life-style changes. Taking one little step after another. Cut out the bad fats, drink LOTS of water, eat as fresh of food as possible (veggies, fruit, etc), don't skip breakfast, tame your sweet tooth, and last but not least stop eating before you feel full! Sounds simple and it works.

Honey, the formula is simple: physical activity with the proper diet.
By the way, "diet" doesn't mean deprivation; it means moderation.
Be free to eat, but control yourself.
This what you need to do: 1) cardio (30 minutes minimum) twice per week. I recommend either the thread mill or the exercise bike. How about a spinning class? You will have "great" legs and a trim body. 2) all around weight training; the major muscles will do (chest, back, legs, stomach, shoulders). Do this on one day twice per week. Three sets of moderate (not too light) weight will do. 3) Stop drinking sodas, lattes, and chocolate throughout the week. Save them for a special occasion and eat without guilt.

you have to be specific about what you mean by diet . If you're serious about it then portion your meals and try Cardio . Record your progress and don't by having a small like losing 3 pounds first don't say I'm gonna lose 15 pounds ,so start small. I hope I helped.

We need more info,bit bit. How MUCH do you exercise? How MANY calories do you take in? Weight loss also happens gradually, so be patient. And try to focus on your total health and not just what you weigh. I personally love to run and its great for weight control.

If you really want to loose the weight, you have to be commited and do it in a healthy way. Eating properly with the right combonation of protein, carbs and vegetables as well as taking the time to work out. If it makes it easier, take a friend along.
