i want to adress a couple points that have come up in the answers.the devil dosent promise us eternity in hell god dose!!!!!!
and no i dont belive in either but as far as marketing goes i belive satan has the advantage.

Hi! I am not a Christian, but an American Muslim woman. I found your question to be interesting. The Bible is not the only source for such information. The Qur'an is an excellent source of information for such questions.
God, through The Qur'an teaches us many things. One of the things which is mentioned in The Qur'an is that the devil is nothing but a creature who tries to influence humans away from The Guidance of Almighty God/The Creator. He is a creature who is a Jinn. Jinns are made from fire like humans are made from clay. There are Jinn who are obedient to The Creator and there are those who are disobedient -like us humans. The devil is the leader of those who are disobedient to The Creator. In other words the devil is a creature who is a liar. He makes promises but he does not have the ability to fulfill them. The Creator is The One and Only God and therefore has power over everyone and everything. The Creator can and does answer prayers, prayers which include both this life and The Hereafter. The Creator promises us things for both this life and The Hereafter. Who told you that The Hereafter is boring? Who says that there is no sex in The Hereafter?
I think that with all that I've said that my answer is obvious, The God is making the better deal!

God is your father who loves you and and wants only the best for you here on earth and in eternity. The Devil doesn't love you and is not your creator. The Devil wanted to be like God but learned her could not so he parted from God and took some other fallen angels with him (demons). The Devil and his demons are on a mission to steal souls away from God. They are bitter, evil and angry because they are without God. Misery loves company ... the Devil wants YOUR company in eternity.
Don't be deceived by his trickery and the promise of a "good life". Your mortal mind can't even begin to imagine what wonders and glory await in Heaven! Drugs, partying, sex etc... are earthly things that some people may enjoy with their earthly bodies, but in Heaven you will be a new creature with a heavenly body and will know pleasures far beyond what you experienced on earth. When you are in Heaven, your mind will be different, the way you think will be different. You will be a heavenly creature. You won't want drugs and sex etc... your heavenly body will find pleasures in other things that God has planned for you and me.
Have FAITH in the unknown. Don't lose the opportunity to spend eternity in a perfect world. God Bless You! =D

Satan cannot give you anything but heartache and a boatload of problems. God promises us happiness here on earth and you can have, if you try. When a person desires sex, drugs or violence to FREEDOM in Christ, then you are walking down the wrong path, Is your way of living happiness? Perhaps short lived. God is eternal. When you allow Jesus to come into your heart that's Happiness. Doing the will of God is a concience decision, one that you need to think about!

In life, weather you believe in God or not, there will all ways be violence and sex. As for which is better, you go for the devil, you are bound to die sometime, and after that you will live forever in an eternal hell. Go for God, and you are still bound to die, but you will live forever in a place that is glorious. And the Bible never said that heaven is a boring place. In fact, some people believe that Heaven will be a place where you will prais God and that it will be basically your lifes dream. What you all ways wanted. <- Not me.

you offer a hobson's choice. damned if you do and damned if you don't. you probably never saw the old movie. worse yet your question includes false assumptions. one that there is a devil and tthe other that there is a god. you may not know it but those such as you are in a minority. as for me, i jsut want a reallyh cold diet pepsi or coke and hope the noisey kids around here are quiet tonight. i call them the parking lot kids. not bad kids just posses very powerful lungs, i guess. sort of like southamerican howler monkeys. returning to your question, i will play the game and choose going with god. why? already ran with the devil and there is a big big downside.

This is so dumb. If you believe in a devil and god, you have to believe in heaven and hell. And that means that taking the devil's deal will get you sent to a place of eternal torment:
A room with a moose.
Either be a total atheist (the right choice) or a total christian (the misguided choice), but you can't be both at the same time.

i do have a mind and i am gonna use it. God is obviously makin us a better deal than the devil. Yeah if u do spend ur life with the devil u r only satifying ur flesh and u will spend eternity in hell, the lake of fire. if u spend ur life with God u be satifying your spiritual health. u will go to heaven when u die that is so much better than going to hell. o by the way whats worng with living without drugs and violence cuz i kno they sure didnt get me ne where so whatev if u thinkthat stuff is great. its really not it sux. u dotn kno how long eternity is but ur physical life is onyl gonna be liek 70 yrs and that tiem is gonna fly by. it is much better to spend eternity with God in heaven than in hell with satan.

If you were to use your mind and read the book of Proverbs in the Bible you would see that God promises money, health, happiness, friends, and family. While the devil uses those things to torment ourselves and others IF we happen to get them. Like all the sex you want too bad you'll catch AIDS. All the money you want, to bad you made so many enemies getting it you have no one permanent in your life to enjoy it with. Read the fine print.

You can be perfectly happy. Violence, is pointless. It doesn't get anyone anywhere. And plus, God promises a lot more than that, like eternal life with him, while satan promises, life in hell forever.
