For all the technology in the world, it seems amazing to me that we still don't know what is good and bad for us to eat.

Some say eat more protein, some say eat less. Some say eat less fat, more carbs - others say opposite. Ughhh.....why after all these years do we not know what to eat?

Currently I'm struggling with knowing what oil to cook my food in. Naturopath say butter is an inflammatory fat. Physical therapist and Oprah say don't heat olive oil. Naturopath says use Cocunt oil, that it just got a bad rap in the 80's that it is actually good for you. But others say "no way" - coconut oil is sat fat and horrible for you. ARGGGHHH

The principles of a good diet are understood. Scientists and doctors know it. The people who try to sell you books and memberships and special foods with a big diet name on them are the ones creating the false impression that the basics of good nutrition are up for grabs.

A lot of nutritional health is balance, and letting what you know specific to your state of health determine your diet. (Example: Too much protein causes your kidneys to have to work harder; obviously, while protein is great for you, if you have kidney problems, large amounts of protein might be bad for you.)

And about the fat vs. carb thing, consider the following: Fat is 9 calories per gram; carbs are 4 calories per gram. Both fats and carbs are essential. Generally speaking, a diet heavier in fats than carbs will make you gain, or keep you from losing.

There is knowledge on how to eat healthy. This knowledge is suppressed because of the Pharmaceutical industry. You just have to be pointed in the "right" direction.

For example, we have our own metabolic profiles. Which means, our genetic disposition on how fast or how slow we digest our foods. This process is called the "autonomic nervous system."

The autonomic nervous system is all of the things you don't tell your body to do. Such, as breath, digest, heart beat etc. You have to eat the way your ancestors ate.

For example, there is not one size fits all in eating. The Inuit people of Alaska have high protein and high animal fat in their diets and have no history of heart disease. In contrast, the Hindu people eat vegetarian (plant foods) and also have no history of disease or deficiency for eating that way.

If you were to switch their diets, it would eventually lead to deficiencies that could lead to life threatening illnesses.

It's important to understand this information by taking a Metabolic Profile Test. It is more accurate than a blood test. It will show you your results of either a Parasympathetic, Sympathetic or both.

It will also show you a pie chart to show the ratios of how many fats, carbs, and proteins based on your DNA. Genetic profile.

If you would like this free test, contact me and I will e mail you the Adobe PDF file.

Have a great day.

It is simple. People have ISSUES that cause them not to look at things logically. Also if someone loves meat they will not accept that it is bad for them so they will say it is good for you. Meat is my favorite food in the world and I ate more than anyone. Now I am vegetarian.

Also people's egos get in the way. WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY MOM. ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR? Site below can teach you to understand what is a healthy diet and why. You will not have to wonder. It has info from Amer. Medical Assoc, Amer. Heart Assoc, Amer Diabetes Assoc and FDA plus a couple of MDs. End your confusion.

We do know what is healthy for us. Fad diets say different things and are not always good for you. Following the guidelines of the food pyramid is the healthiest way to eat. Obviously you have to make wise choices within that, such as choosing yogurt for you dairy, rather than ice cream.

There is a healthy diet for humans. Eat only food that is naturally found on the earth, and in its natural form. Thats what animals do. You don't see them deep frying their vegetables or baking them in an oven with butter and flour added in. And you certainly don't see any overweight animals in the wild.

That stuff will kill off maximum germs and issues. maximum commercial dry canine ingredients are made from frequently grains. So your Purina ONE is in certainty cereal for canine. in my opinion, I feed my 4 canine a type stated as "flavor of the Wild." Its grain-unfastened and makes use of potatoes for the carbohydrate. Its frequently meat, like a canine could be eating. I complement that dry nutrients with some canned "earlier Grain" that's a hundred% meat. no longer uncooked meat, yet nevertheless meat. certainly one of my canine won't consume a uncooked weight loss application, yet another gets pancreatitis extremely easily, and that i'm no longer likely to bypass uncooked in uncomplicated terms for the different 2 canine. So all human beings eats the comparable factor and likes it. :] in case you do no longer want to feed a uncooked weight loss application, a minimum of seem into some dry or perhaps canned ingredients that don't comprise corn, man made preservatives or colors, via-products, and different low-high quality aspects. maximum food market canine ingredients are the equivalent human beings eating no longer something yet Twinkies and Doritos for something of our lives.

Well the best food for a healthy living I'd say would be freshly prepared meals and not eating until the last meal has been digested. (that takes at least 3 hrs)

I hear ya.

I've tried diets and common sense seems to prevail each time.

"If it tastes good, eat it in limited quantities." (Strategically, if necessary).

The debate over the health of chicken eggs will never end. Fad diets will come and go. It's our educated elite at work.
