my friend had a alka selzer tablet in his fridge and i asked him if i could eat half of it, can anything bad happend to me

May i ask why you asked to eat it ?? Heck imagine if there was a tab like alka seltzer and it was in fact a laxative :O , * chuckles* alka seltzer is typically placed in a glass of water and drunk , like any other medication , there is a reason for being given instructions on how to take it , to go against that advice is silly imho sorry :(

No, because either way you take it.. eating it or with water it will still have the same effect. Its only made of aspirin and sodium bicarbonate which makes it fizz, so if you eat it you're just skipping the carbonation part.

No. All it is, is sodium bicarbinate (the fizzy) and asprin. It will foam in your mouth and not taste pleseant but you would be effected any other way.
