What's the best way to find out if a guy really loves and cares for you?

Well I've been with my boyfriend for over a year and a few months and i don't really know if he loves and cares for me as he says he does.
We don't see each other alot and if i don't text him he doesn't text me. Sometimes two days past without him texting me...and when he's online he dont really chat with me.
I really confused and dont know what to do, i do really love him and think about him alot.
But i dont want to be with someone who dont love me back.
He's a really sweet guy, he makes me laugh when we're together, and if i am away he text me saying that he cant wait to see me when i get back, or keep asking when i'll be back. But that only happens when i am away, wish it was always like that!

Please help me!

Well my boyfriend is kinda like yours, and when i ask him why he's like that he says that he's just not a very chatty guy. He's the kind that if you take a warm bath with him, he'll tell you how he really feels, maybe you can try that.
Or when he's drunk ask him how he really feels about you, they say when i guy is drunk they express their true feelings.
He calls when you're away that means he cares for you and don't want to lose you. But at the end of the day, we can only give you our opinion, you're the one that really knows you bf, so you need to decide if he really loves you.

Try going away a lot more and staying at those places for longer. you should have more texts at least by doing what Ive suggested probably less sex though, but at least you should both be in need of it and after all it's quality not quantity that's important, seriously though you need to try to find out what exactly is it that seems to be taking up more of his time and if its nothing important or that's the answer he gives then say good and Book to see him on all the times that he normally wastes doing nothing important and see how he responds. If he tries to get out of it just ask him why he would seem to prefer doing nothing to enjoying doing more stuff and with the bonus of your company to. Just keep the pressure on have suggestions for next weeks time to and start asking the original question again adding that its obvious that it must be more than he says because if it isn't then tell him not to bother contacting you anymore as you're clearly less important than doing nothing important is for him so you've decided to take up a few offers you've been getting lately because you deserve better. you probably do.

I think I may have been alone for to long as I feel strangely attracted to all the female sketches used to represent each member sol if you look as good as the toon in your id card, then if he's a toon as well I know someone who will rub him out for you.

Be honest with him about how you feel. Showing him this question would be a good start. Tell him the way things are just isn't enough for you. Some guys don't like to chat online and some aren't good with words - its hard to tell. Just remember that you should have some control over the relationship.

You can tell alot by a guy's actions. If you feel he is making the effort to keep the relationship going and that he shows you respect and thinks about you, then he does really care for you.

tell him you want to get married and have his children... if he doesn't scream and run that might be the indication you're looking for. it seems to me that if he's not around much and isn't talking he's already given you the hint... i do hope i'm wrong... maybe you should just talk to him and ask point blank. you'll know for sure and can get on with the next step in your life. if you're the one doing all the work it's going to be a long, lonely relationship...

does he not pounce on you when you get together?. if he doesnt then im sorry your relationship is doomed. my woman goes away for a few days to see her parents, no sooner is she through the door i've got her knickers off. not because i'm horny but because i miss her, and whats a better way to say welcome back than a quick shag up against the front door. seriously ask him "do you love me?" if he "umms and ahhs" or looks at his feet you know the score. ditch him!. its a simple question, any hesitation means nothing for both!

just like my bf. Im spending lots of money to send him sms and by calling him ( i skipped my snacks and dinner everyday to buy a call card) but its like a one way relationship. Hes from Aus and im from Phil. i told him 2 prove me that he loves me by visiting me here but got a lot of excuses....time, money, everything so im just giving my self a little more time im sure ill be over him soon.
