Maybe take her when she's nine or ten as she would appreciate it more. A holiday like that is something you can't afford to repeat very often (unless you're lucky enough to be rich) it might be best if you waited till she was old enough to appreciate the excitement of going to another country and all the attractions of the place. When I was ten I desperately wanted to visit LA (still do) but my parents could never afford it. If I'd gone when I was four I probably would have thought it was a bit of a waste later in life as I wouldn't remember it or have appreciated the expense my parents had gone to, to take me there. Having said that I'm sure there's plenty for a four year old to enjoy in Florida and she would have fun.

Wow, where do you live? Coming to America for the first time? You know your daughter better than we do. Is she a baby 4 or a mature 4? Do you enjoy being with her 24 - 7? Is she easily amused and can play by herself? Will she be ok for a lengthy plane ride? Will it just be the two of you? How long will you be here and where will you be living? All of these are questions you should be asking yourself and the decision should end up quite obvious depending on the answers.

I think she will be fine. My daughter is now 6 but she went to Florida for 10 days when she was 4. She still talks about. She absolutly LOVED the plane ride. Just make sure you have lots for her to do on the plane and do lots of activities that she will never forget while you're there.

I hope you have fun!!!

Sure she will! Just make sure she gets enough sleep! Traveling and all the excitement can really take it out of a small child. If you go someplace that requires alot of walking like Disney, be sure to do both yourselves a favor and get a stroller. This way it can carry things and will be a great mobile place she can take a nap. Have fun! =)

At four she will get bored on along flight, but she will also find some parts of it interesting. She is old enough to remember some of for a long time.

Just remember that you have to do things that interest a 4 year old. It would not be fair to take her on a trip that has nothing for her to do.

I think that she'd love it....there is plenty to do for all ages and they have this baby sitting system if you want to go on a ride or anything....the flight is long but u can take things to do....fly later so that the little one can sleep.

Have a brilliant time!

I would do a shorter trip first! We wanted to take ourGrandson to Disney Land Florida, but decided to opt for DL Paris first. Have a great time no matter where you go!

I would ask the air lines how many 4yr old travel, and about motion sickness. Other than the motion sickness I think she'll be fine, as long as mommy keeps her attention!! Happy Birthday, hope your trip goes well and safe. GOD BLeSS

I think she would enjoy it. In September, I took my 3 year old on a plane to Florida. She loved it!
