Are you that person who tells the person they are talking to that they have a booger in their nose... or some food on their lip?

If it is a lover or close friend, I generally reach up with my napkin and take care of it myself in a loving way. I don't discuss it, dwell on it, and I keep the conversation going so that he's not embarrassed by it. Because it's no big deal. It happens to everybody.

The other thing you can do is make a small gesture with your finger up to your own mouth to let them know they need to use their napkin. For the nose issue, you can tell them they have a "bat in the cave," but hand them a napkin while you are doing it. That's usually good for a smile. I just don't like embarrassing people about that stuff. Sometimes it's not even important enough to bring up. Like I said, we've all been there.

Yes I would because if you can't tell your loved ones or friends that something is wrong then who else will, if it makes you uncomfortable just point to your face (booger or food etc.) and then to theirs and make a gesture it will be understood.

Think about it if you have a piece of spinach in your teeth would you not want someone to tell you before you go into public areas?

I surely hope that someone tells me.

No, not really. Haha, To me that's something very uncomfortable to do when I'm talking with someone. And even though I appreciate it when someone tells me, at the same time I feel embarrased, so I wouldn't want that person to be embarrased. Or sometimes like if they have something on their lip, I wipe it off myself and smile. haha =D

yeah but i don't come out and say it . I'll say "you have a cannon ball in the left barrel" or if they have food on their mouth I'll wipe mine until they get the hint
