...change his myspace from "single" to "in a relationship".

See, a girl left a very flirty comment on his page the other day so I asked him to change his status to "in a relationship" so people will know he is taken.
He DID change it today, and I thanked him.
However, my friend said that by me requesting he change it, I've become one of those pain in the a s s girlfriends that is possessive.

Was my friend right?? Should I have just left him alone, or was I correct in making him change his status.

I do not want him to start thinking I am a jealous nag.

Well you were a little jealous of the comments girls were leaving on his myspace page.

I guess if the two of you are in a serious relationship he should have his status at "in a relationship", but honestly that is not going to stop him from cheating or from girls flirting.

You need to trust him no matter what his status is on myspace.

i think u should have let him make the decision change his status. u do sound like a nagging gfs, regardless of whether his myspace says single or in a relationship, some females will still try 2 get@ him. u need 2 b confident & secure w/ yourself & relationship. also i know its hard but if u cant handle the comments girls leave, maybe you shouldn't frequent his page 2 often!

No, he is in a relationship and maybe he didnt remember to change it. Some people dont think about stuff like their myspace profile relationship status everyday. If he didnt want to change it he wouldnt have.

Honey I just found out that my boyfriend had a single status on his myspace page, and I did the same thing and asked him to put in a relationship, then I asked him if he was mad at me and we are really open with each other...Just ask your boyfriend if he is mad at you and that you are jelious cause you don't want to loose him.

I dont think it much of a big deal. Its myspace. But it is normal to want other girls to know that your man is taken, and it helps in keeping them away. It may even be good for him to see that you want him for yourself and not to share. In my opinion it was o.k. to do.

you will possibly be able to desire to consistently create a scheme to woo her into coming back, you will possibly be able to desire to convince her that your pal became incorrect, you will possibly be able to desire to comprehend which you in no way incredibly dated her and additionally you will possibly be able to't incredibly lots else until you incredibly comprehend her and additionally you incredibly care approximately her and additionally you will possibly comprehend the thank you to restoration it (perhaps not precisely yet a minimum of the thank you to techniques-set her and what she would be ready to not respond to for helpful), yet until now you are trying this you will possibly be able to desire to restoration YOUR pal. Why might he say that? it is the two he have been given mixed alerts from you or that he likes the girl himself. i don't think of it is the latter. It sounds such as you have gotten opposition.

He may HAVE seen it that way. So may your friend too. However, when in doubt, talk to your bf about what he thinks before you feel like a heel too much!!
