I'm currently writing a comic series. I've got 17 issues in the storyline so far, and I sell the for about $3.00 per issue. Nobody knows about my comics though, since I'm really only a senior in high school and have been doing them in my leisure time for quite a while.

Any suggestions you can make to help me get the word out to people? I really don't care so much for the money so much as I care about people reading them.

Create advertising and sales material and then list on ebay and youtube and tell your story. People love stories.

Good attitude!!! First of all, get yourself a business name with the county and a Tax ID. You will have to collect and pay sales tax but... you'll get some sweet tax credits for your supplies, advertising, computer expense, etc. You can even take college classes as a business expense so look into it seriously. As for the advertising, I found a great book in the library... "Marketing without Money" by Nicholas E Bade. The book will give you 300 tips of how to get your business name and purpose out there without a lot of cash.
