Tobacco addiction is one of the worst there is,even more than
heroin. It sounds like your brother-in-law is struggling with it
unsuccessfully. You're right,chewing tobacco is a disgusting habit
which can actually lead to cancer inside the mouth. Talk to him
and tell him you'll go to your sister if it's necessary,although I would save that as a last resort.

There is nothing wrong with him; he is only dealing with things the best way he can. As for he lied to your sis, well that's something else. Talk to him & try to get him to tell your sis what's up. Tell him how bad you think it is that he thinks he has to lie to your sis & tell him how bad it is that he made you a part of that lie by letting you know about it.
GOOD LUCK ~;}

I agree with you but unfortunately, there's nothing you can do, this is between the two of them and i don't really think your sister will thank you for getting to involved. Tell them both that you think it's sick what he's doing but bare in mind, it's not illegal and the issue of the lying is for them to sort out.

He is probably addicted to it. It is hard for people to quit an addiction. You have to have a lot of strong will power. It is sort of like trying to stop biting your nails or twirling your hair.

The smoking he did killed off too many braincells for him to be able to make any good decisions anymore. I'm surprised he still knows how to wipe himself.

He does, doesn't he?

He's addicted to nicotine, and he will not try to stop the addiction until he is ready to do it. My husband has been addicted for years.

He's addicted to nicotine. It's sad now he may get lung cancer and cancer in his mouth. Pray for him - it's really really hard to quit!
