As soon as you have reputable information that he has been talking about stuff that violates your privacy, I'd talk to him about it. What's going on with that? Why is he doing it? Tell him it is hurtful.

If this doesn't resolve the situation, lose him.

My experience with the men I've dated and been in relationships with is that they are generally very private creatures. They don't really share private information with their male friends, colleagues, or anybody else about their relationships. This guy would definitely be an exception in my world.

No, it's personal and should only be between those 2 people.

No. It means that he is needs others approval--that is why he tells others everything. That tells me he does not have the maturity to handle an intimate relationship. Besides, it is also a violation of your trust. Why would you want to date him?

Dump his sorry, immature, as-s. He's got no respect for you or himself. Tell him you are kicking him to the curb and he can brag to all his buddies about the new relationship he has with his hand.

no, sounds like he is trying to impress someone?
A relationship is suppose to consist of trust and honesty...
if you have told him not to tell him these things, he is breaking these rules. I would not put up with it.
