I once read a quote from Marlene Deitricht about men but I think it applies to both sexes. She said "a man is more interested in a woman thats interested in him than in any woman with great legs"

I think this interest is the thing that draws people together. Its about knowing that the other persons mind is close to yours, their concerns and wishes are for you, and yours for them (hopefully). If you've had someone infatuated with you you'll know what I mean (Judging by the stuff you post you probably will)

In answer to your question then I think attention begets attention....

That or bit t!ts

Insects such as ants I have been known to sit with my kids and watch them for ages and We like to catch flies and throw them into webs, Just to see the spider come running out and wrap them up am I weird or what? I've only done it a few times(it's not a hobby) but I know when the summer comes I'll have another go

But hands down it has to be my children and watching them figuring out the world and me being part of it.

Freak accidents fascinate me. There was once one about a sword fish that jumped out of the water and straight through the eye of a man standing up on a boat :| Strange eh?

my man 3 years on i'm still trying to work out what he's thinking.
and i hope that i still feel that way in 40 years time
also the landscape that surrounds me. i could spend hours watching people walking and wonder who they are and what they are doing.
i could spend days contemplating the mountains, seas and sky, just looking for a reason that isnt scientific to explain them and there awe-inspiring and timeless beauty.
but most of all my children, i love to see them laugh and here the silly, sweet things they say.
guess theres nothing i dont really get fixated by

The fact that woodlice carry their babies around underneath their Little tummys and they are crustaceans. I don't know how Hugh Fernly Whittington can eat them though. He's fascinating him self with his mad hair and ability to make a stinging nettle tasty. Mr Bongo agrees of course.

The night sky this time of the year, watching my bloke when he's not aware (he's oh so cute), the way my dog dreams... lol.. I guess I'm easily fascinated!

It should be calm and mysterious, coming from nowhere and going to nowhere, something without the past and without the future, something without special features, something without the aim, something simple but becaouse its simplicity, original.
