If I bake up a batch of the biscuits you get in cylindrical packaging at the grocery store, how can I save them and reheat them so they last long but don't get hard when I reheat them. I think I've had this happen to me before and I'd like to have them for breakfast over multiple days.

I keep mine in a ziploc bag. Then, you can heat one or two or all, whenever you choose. Also, if they are not kept in a ziploc, and get hard on you, take them and put them in a ziploc with a couple of drops of water, seal part way, and put them in the microwave for about 35 seconds. They will be like new.
I have done this with bread also. It works great.

Make sure they cool completely before putting them into Ziploc and keep at room temperature. Reheat in oven/toaster oven when possible to maintain that mmmmyummy crispy outer layer and the soft fluffy inside. Making a foil packet around the biscuit(s) will help keep the moisture inside and the crisp outside.

Wrap in foil. You can reheat them in the foil in an oven. Or remove them from the foil and cover w/ saran wrap & reheat for a few seconds in a microwave. Just a few seconds being key.

Store leftovers in the freezer. Wrap in paper towel and zap 'em for a few seconds on a low setting.
