The police beat me up and locked me in a little cell for 55 days. They threw feces at me. They made me go out of my mind.
I suffer EXTREME PTSD! I feel numb. The only thing I can experience is horror.

There is NO WAY I will see a counscellor. It is a waste of time. Does this condition ever go away? I am getting out with friends as much as possible. It won't go away.

I saw that you had posted this question twice. I am not big on the other answer here so I will answer again. You will live with this the rest of your life. I know I do. There are some days that are worse than others. I involve myself with helping people and animals. But yes it sometimes gets really bad. I know what you mean about counselors, some are just plain crap. PTSD is kinda like loosing a limb in a car accident. NO ONE truly knows unless they have been there. My thoughts are with you. Try to do something WITH your PTSD. Seriously, join an internet blog, talk about it with other people...THERE REALLY ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH IT...and we are not crazy we just had to live through what most, thank goodness, did not.

Since there is no way you will ever go to a counselor ,
Then , most probably , no , it won't go away , unless
You at some point , decide you really want it to go away,
Then you will consider seeing a counselor.
