I've been living in this flat for not so long, I'm getting closer to one of my flatmates, and I really like him. I don't know what to do because I think he likes me too, but living together and hooking up isn't probably the best thing to do... What should I do?

Maybe give it a little more time before you act. Perhaps go out as mates for some drinks (just you two) and see how things go. This is a situation not to be rushed. If something happens it happens (make sure it's not just a drunken thing).

If you haven't lived together all that long you don't know all his bad habbits yet.

Hi Aureli !!!

Be careful and study all the pros and cons of this. I personally think is NOT a good idea, specially if he hasn't tell you anything yet!!!

Probably is just an infatuation, in both parts. You need to be very smart about it, if you make a move. Since you are NOT sure of him. You are already set up on that flat but just for a short time!!! Give yourself a chance, let things take it's own way. Don't rush into anything than later you will regret!!!

It will NOT be too comfortable, staying in the same place after having a relationship with someone and then break up!!!
Just keep him as friend and be sure if it's worth everything you could loose at this time.

GOOD LUCK & HAPPY LIFE

If there's nothing in particular keeping you tied to this flat (good friends etc), then it's worth the risk. Life is based on random chances and meetings in my opinions, whose to say if this is the right thing to do or not? If you don't make a move, and you think you'll regret that, then you need to take things to the next stage. If things don't work out, it's possible you could still live close to each other, it's a matter of if you've got over each other or not. You also have the option to move. You should at least try to work out if the feeling is mutual. Good luck!

Imagine yourself 5, 10, 15+ years from now. Maybe he's "The One," maybe not. Either way, getting involved with someone you seem to know pretty well probably isn't going to damage your life so badly you'll never recover (assuming things go tremendously badly). You'll spend the rest of your life wondering what if...instead of being able to say, "I remember when..."

Afterthought: I shouldn't say "Assuming things go badly." That's just cynical. I should say, "Just imagine wot's the worst that could happen?" And the worst probably won't happen. Life is messy.

Just do it. You're only young once. In 20 years nobody will want to shag you and you won't care anymore anyway. Do it now!

Ah just do it. It's not as bad as you think it will be if you do end it after the "honeymoon" period...
