STEP 1: Stand on the board with your rear foot placed on the tail and your front foot between the middle of your board and the front bolts.
STEP 2: Place the ball of your rear foot in the middle of the board so that when you push the tail down, the ball of your foot feels the pressure.
STEP 3: Place your front foot nearly straight across the board. STEP 4: Practice pushing down as fast as you can with your back foot and putting all your weight on the tail. This is the initial motion of the trick.
STEP 5: Notice that the harder you push, the more your board wants to keep going up once the tail is on the ground. You will use that motion in the next step.
STEP 6: Strike the tail on the ground and jump off with your rear foot as you slide your front foot up the board (so your knee moves toward your chest).
STEP 7: Drag the side of your foot up the board as you are jumping. This will cause the board to come up with your jump. Once both feet are in the air, the board will seem to stick to them.
STEP 8: Come back down.

i skate a little, but can ollie about 12-16 inches off the ground. position you back foot on the kick tail, and right foot at about the middle of the board. crouch, then push down on the kick tail, jump, and slide your front foot up the board. then push down with your front foot to even out the board in mid-air. its hard to learn. watch videos of pros in slow mo, or watch a friend who knows how.

now the first thing is the foot positon.have your front foot in the middle of the board and the back foot at the edge of the tail.now pop with the back foot and bring your back foot up tp you.now for the front foot you need to drag it up to the nose at the same time you bring your back foot up.so its, back foot:: pop bring up. front foot::drag to the nose in between popping and bringing up the back foot.sorry if its confusing.but youll get it
